Opening day today......EL SUCKO...... first time i have ever gone and not purchased one item...... If ya want a day out go i guess, but dont expect much unless ur into crappy rods for 60 bux and old out dated lures....

the ONE positive is you can check out the newer models of reels at the major players in the game booths...with the exception of Penn

Same here...The only reason I went last year is because I wanted to see Brody, that big old Kodiak bear.I probably spent an hour just watching him and seeing the baby bear cub they had.

Seems that the bargains at the shows are a thing of the past. Everyone and their brother has a table now and they all want top dollar for their wares. The price of admittance is insane also.

I'm going. There's a musky fishing seminar on Sat that I'll go to and a couple of freshwater outfitters I want to talk to.

Didn't bother to go, same old,same old. seems you can skip the show for a couple of years and not miss a thing. Would rather wait for it to warm up and spend the money on a day out on a party boat.
