Tuesday 03/27 evening report

Pushed off the dock at 5pm.  Found out my godfather was back from a business trip in FL, so he joined me for an evening trip.  Tried some shallow waters first but we didn't have any luck there.  Tide was going out and we were swinging on the anchor a bit with the wind, plus I think it was still a little too early for that spot. 

We moved out around the 1 can in Keyport and finally started getting action.  Had a few quick bite and drops, and pops finally had a good one hooked.  It took a good run on him, even breached fully out of the water at one point.  It spit the hook after a second small breach but it was a nice fish to his credit.  I finally got some action myself and caught a little guy after the sun went down.  A nice chilly night and at least I broke the ice.

I was laughing my ass off because pops was busting me on how small it was, I was telling him at least I got it in the boat when he snapped the pic haha.
