4/20 MI Report

First let me thank Capt Carl, BossRoss and Capt Rich for their help in keeping the skunk off my boat.

Left MI around 0900 just a little behind Ross. Tried some life in front of the inlet - nothing. Went North towards Deal and met up with the fleet on the 3mile line - little action from anyone. To the Rocks we went. Trolled up 1 yellow eye to 10# and lost another. Got a call that closer was better. Headed inshore to find life on the screen and no crowds. Managed 1 striper on the troll to 16# on a stretch. Lost another stretch on a cutoff. No luck at all with jigging. With time running out for us due to other engagements we headed back south. During the run back to port we literally ran into miles of bunker on the surface. Only had a few minutes to try to live line some snagged bunker but, no luck.

Good trip because of good guys on this site!

You did fine, caught a couple of fish!

Go get a bunker spoon and add that to your arsenal.
