Pulled out of Keyport at 6:15am with Rick "still running/Dieselhp,, and Steve "Massbaster" to a clear sky, light wind and incoming tide. High tide was at 7:43am so we set up on anchor and wacked some clams to try And get the end of the incoming bite.  nothing was doing here and the current was slow so we set out the stretch 25's for some bluefish action.  After catching and releasing around 50 blues we got some intel from Capt.Carl who nailed a nice drum and some stripes. I practically tide on to Carl's anchor ;D. And started to chum heavy to produce a 32" Striper and a short..   Carl's new boat is awesome!!  Things slowed down so we trolled a bit more and called it a day.. Back at the marina at 11:45am. For two more parties I have to attend. chrz
It was a fine day with a great crew And some good intel from Capt.Carl And also spoke to Dan "Reel McCoy"  slt
  I will be out tommorrow for another attempt for some fresh fillets.
