ANY RECENT REPORTS FOR BARNEGAT BAY/INLET

Throwing the boat in the water tomorrow wanted to get my girlfriend her first fish of the year before stepping outside the inlet. Any recent reports for Barnegat Bay or the Inlet? Any mid-sized stripers or blues caught in these waters?

 i'd be willing to bet there are some fluke in double creek, across form the light house along the back banks, and along the icw. just look for the fleet.

 blues will be hit or miss just about anywhere around there.

 stripers should be along the sods, and in the inlet cruising the rocks.


 going out this am, i may try for a couple fluke in double creek on my way back in, i'll let ya know what i find.

 on the way out through double creek, there was some blues breaking the surface at first light. on the way back, tried a couple drifts for fluke, only got a ton of seaweed and gave up after 3 short drifts.
