Roosters Flukin 5-24-12
« on: May 24, 2012, 07:42:36 PM »
Tom and I took the Roosters out on the Sandy Hook Bay this morning intending to head up the Shrewsbury River to find some keeper size Fluke. The fog was so thick we could not safely travel where the fog was sure to get worse. The Southeast corner of the bay provided us with plenty of action on shorts and Tom landed four keepers to 20½" there were no keepers for me. The bay was thick with Bunkers bumping into our lines. As the fog lifted we headed back into our slip at Atlantic Highlands Marina around noon finding Fluke inside the harbor. Pete
