Raritan Bay Fluking wed 30
« on: May 30, 2012, 03:31:09 PM »
Out of Keyport Creek at day light,Capt Don SR and JR and Slimfisherman,Headed for Bouy "1,had the out going tide, water flat as a pancake, and dirty.First drift,BINGO a nice 21",and a short.Made that drift over a couple times and caught two more keepers and a couple more shorts. The fish got lockjaw so we moved out to Bouy "19,there was three party boats fishing in the area.Picked up another 21",and a couple more keeps.Slack tide and dirty water and no more bites we called it a good day.8 keepers and 4 shorts are BEST day so far.Cleaned the fish and in the stomach were grass shrimp or an empty stomach.GREAT DAY ON THE BAY.

What a great day fishing. There was lots of action then it shut off. Then we picked up a few more so i could feed the parents. Getting ready to have my fluke now. Can't wait to go again. Thanks a lot Capt. Don Sr. and Jr.
