Hi All,
Something to consider ...
Bad weather in late August always triggers the Fluke migration, especially of the larger fish that have been on the reefs and rocks.
Evidence?
Experience ...
It would be smart to pay attention to fishing the mouths of inlets as nice fish are due to pass through there out of the bays and rivers. Additionally, this is the time to target favorite offshore lumps.
I am not saying that the Fluke fishing is finished. I am saying to target the bigger fish, the reefs have a lower probability of them being there than deeper lumos and mouths of inlets. That is what this is all about anyway. Probabilities ... the slow fishing can be shrugged off as stirred bottom, no drift or no current. The sharpies know that this sudden waterdrop, decrease in salinity, and weekend of slow fishing mean something else.
A word to those who know how to hunt for fish!
