Hi Speedrug,

1. Do you want a private charter (more $$$ but more chances)?

2. How flexible are you with dates and reschedules?

3. Do you have your own equipment?

4. Where do you want to leave from?

Best time is during stable weather windows into November ... I prefer October as the weather is still OK (no need for winter gear at night). However, some of my best trips have been in November.

Before you answer, one tip. The faster you book, the better bunk you get if you go on a Party boat.

Looking forward to your answers so we can help you out.

Capt. Ed

PS - One of the best Party Boats for tuna is the Sea Devil out of Pt. Pleasant (Capt. Bob Pennington).

If private 6 pack, most of the good boats are usually well booked by now.

Hi Speedrug,

I would call the Canyon Runner and ask them if they have any cancellations. Get to be friends with them and check in regularly.

They book way in advance but they are that good!

There number is 732-842-6825.

I will give you some other folks but I would try them first.

My $.02,

Ed
