Tom was the high hook...6/27 eve.
« on: June 28, 2012, 04:43:53 PM »
we tried the Triangle, reach by the 42, 20rock and environs, wind and tide combined for a ripper of a drift but b-e-a-u-tee ful out otherwise. Finally hookemup'd a fatflat 23"er at sunset on a chartreuse stretch 25+ (  cfzd ) trolled 18' down at 3.8kts near the lobster claw.

YSA's second nice size flatty this year on the troll; something to be said for this new technique and perhaps fast drifting in general. It's not a fluke (OK actually it is but) obviously they are aggressive and big fast twitchyplugs are temptingto 'em....

Nice.  I caught one on a plug once, and a few on chunks when bass fishing.
