kids tuna fishing

I saw a short story on the 11 PM news last night about two kids (14 and 15) who took a small boston whaler tuna fishing on their own.  When they were ready to start back the motor would not start.  Luckily another boat saw them and notified the coast guard.  There were supposedly 37 miles offshore.  Of course the NJ law says you must be 16 to operate a power boat over 10 HP.  If this had been me at 15 my old man would have made sure I would not even think about it again.

I hope they caught a tuna,  37 miles nice job.. I bet they didn't do they fuel management!..

Well the best part home safe.. but most likely ground!

gotta love thier spunk but damn what a stupid move. glad they are home safe and hopefully dad dropped anchor on any future trips offshore for them.
