the mate said that they recently became protected.. There were also some winter flounder caught on the trip.  I had one bigger then most of the Fluke I catch..

FYI Ocean pout (Macrozoarces americanus) is closed in Federal Waters.  Conger Eel (Conger oceanicus) is still open.  Many people call ocean pout, conger eels, like was mentioned earlier.
