Roosters Flukin 7-19 windy
« on: July 19, 2012, 07:06:54 PM »
Hard East wind, the plan was to fish the ocean for Fluke, but Tom and I decided to search the Sandy Hook Bay for our favorite flatfish. Tom connected with a 17½" near the Ammo Pier and that was our only keeper. There were only a few shorts caught no matter where we went with a small amount of Sea Robins to entertain us. No bluefish and many small schools of adult Bunker spread throughout the bay. Back in by noon to check the Killie trap, which held about a pint of fish. Pete
