The wife and I broke the inlet mid morning. hitting lumps from SRI north to long branch. picking up shorts only and a couple barly legal sea bass that were released. Current against the wind for the most part, then it just turned into trying to fish in a washing machine, just a plain ole crappy drift for the most part best action was off the red church but even that the bite was sporatic at best. Other then that it was nice weather on the
 ocean.  slt

:-\ Good try!! I was out too... caught the end of the out going, got one on board with some shorts, then as soon as the tide 'should' have changed, the wind came outta no where and killed any shot of me catching much of anything else.  :'(
