No Open Boat takers so sailed today with just my buddy John and Ed today. With the short weather window we had before the Southerly winds kicked in, we fished another spot in preparation of next weekends Leonardo Fluke Tournament Sponsored by NJfishing.com. We decided for fun, it would be a No Measurement Required (NMR) trip. If it wasn't an obvious keeper, it was thrown it back. On the spot the bucktails went down and the fish were hungry and all fat quality ones at that. Ed was the hot hand today catching his limit plus and John put some nice fish in the boat too. Wearing my new fishing shirt, made for me by daughter for Fathers day, I landed some nice Flatties too. Looks like I now have a new good luck shirt. We had our NMR limit by noon and headed back to the dock as the conditions worsened.

I have spots available for Sunday's (8/12) Open Boat
