Sunday Fluking
« on: September 03, 2012, 05:23:09 PM »
With everything I was hearing all week I couldn't wait for an opportunity to bounce some Bucktails. Wanted to get an early start due to the tide and it being a Holiday weekend, didn't want to fight traffic at the ramp. Trailering does have it's pitfalls. Noticed a slight breeze at home usually not a good sign, got to Leonardo and it was blowing steady out of the East. Bumpy ride to the rough stuff West of Ambrose in the dark but worth every bump and bang we took. The fish were hungry and they inhaled Bucky's tipped with gulp strips! 2 man limit by 8:30 up to 5lbs with a couple nice CB's added to the mix. Following sea for the early ride home. Great day hope all this East wind doesn't foul things up too much. slt Thanks for reading
