Annual Wildwood trip report
« on: September 16, 2012, 06:04:00 PM »
We made our annual trip to Wildwood this past week for the NJ State Fireman's Assoc Convention.  Headed down Wednesday morning and back home this afternoon.  Had a very nice vacation with PERFECT weather all 5 days.  It's nice waking up every morning with a view of the Ocean.   t^
We were able to get a good bit of fishing time in while we were there.  Made a stop at Tackle Direct on the way down.  Then made our way down hitting a few spots along the way from Ocean City south.  Checked out Corsons Inlet, Townsend Inlet and some bridges and docks.
Over the last few days we spent time at Hereford Inlet, some docks in Wildwood and Sunset Beach in Cape May.
We had fish every place we tried, consisting of a mixed bag of small stuff.  Seabass, spot, croakers, etc.    TT^

Glad you both had a great time.  Man I have to get out more.  I have been doing way to much other than fishing.

You got it.  t^  We're there Wed to sun every year.  We rent a condo in the Crest.

Yeah that one.  But honestly it is a lot tamer then in the past.  There is some serious business that takes place and it has become more family friendly.  But there is still a good time to be had  >:D, just a little more controlled.
