If i dont lay off the Phila cheesesteaks, ill soon be able to make a shotgun holster out of my jeans  ;D

I like it, although i would make it from a color of jeans that I or my wife would never wear and are quickly identifyable.....that way it doesnt get mixed up with pairs we do wear.

Just hang your holster in the same spot every time...every time...every time. Practice at night, in the dark,no need for lites. You know where it is,and don't tell your wife where it is. ;)

Not that it would work In New Jersey or any other Sate But In Alaska most travel and carry only loaded Fire arms concealed or other wise . My buddy never leaves home any other way.
One Pistol One Rifle loaded.
Home invasions are few as far as people go but the Bears and some Moose never got the Memo. Happened to him in Cooper Landing The Brown Bear tried to get in to his house  but wound up Dead. As a intruder does.

This is true, i remedied that by teaching my kids to shoot at the ripe old age of 4yrs old (Boy/girl twins now 12) My dad was a ME State Trooper, and was mainly involved in training officers to shoot. Started me out at that age, and the "curiosity" for guns was never there...i knew exactly what they were, and how to safely handle them. Trates my kids have picked up perfectly.....I worked for years at a gunshop/indoor range and i for one believe my kids are 10times safer than most adult shooters out there......take away the curosity, and the danger becomes less.

Proud dad shots (note where his trigger finger is...this is muscle memory, from training, not ready to put a round down range, finger is off the trigger)

Daughter

Daughters target, 100yrds with my .308 (the flyers in the 7/8 ring were me messing with the scope prior to her shooting)

That is what it is all about. My son and Daughter were also taught very young to respect and shoot many types of firearms. Bill

Just remember, if you keep a gun in your house and you're prepared to use it, make sure the person you use it on isn't you're own son. nosmly

took my 8yo to the range yesterday.  he has a youth henry repeating 22.  man its one sweet rifle.  I agree with others. BOTH my kids are aware there are firearms.  they understand they can touch, feel, etc. the firearms but ONLY if I say so.  The curiosity isn't there.

safety safety and more safety. #1 rule for my son when handling his firearms...always treat it like it is ready to fire.

One Other Point My kids and as my father taught me there are NO Toy Guns I and my kids never had any.
and never missed them. BB guns were against the Law in New Jersey Till NJ made up Gun Laws and restrictions.  smk That made BB & Pellet Guns a Fire Arm with the same rules as any Rifle, Pistol, Gun,
To Buy a BB pistol its the same as a 357 cal. pistol
A BB Rifle just a Fire Arm ID Card.
So If you fire a BB gun against the Law you will be treated as it was a Fire Arm.
Any more Gun Laws needed I think not. to many that are not used or needed or Enforced.
