Any action at the Sandy Hook Surf? Heading out to the hook on Sunday morning looking for a place to start and a lure to start with. Not targetting any type of fish just want to catch something. Did not do well at all surf fishing down at Cape May this summer. Any help will be great.

I've been hearing that there's blue's a plenty in the surf. Anything metal and shiny should work and also top water lures. Just don't forget the steel leaders.
