Capt Crazy, Capt Don jr and Kooz did the early motor march with me to the outside this morning. Capt Crazy putting a hurting to a bushel of clams like Edward Scissorhands. Simply amazing! Thanks Capt. Kooz, of course, provided non-stop entertainment stretching a few vocal chords and making up the lyrics to a Pandora Stones' shuffle. Capt Don had the eyes peeled for some signs and kept complaining he was seeing things with a tinge of yellow. Better get those orbs checked! We set up on the hook and started batting clam shells and laying lines in the water. Everybody had bumps. Fish after fish..... Spikey, flat,prehistoric looking bastards harrassed us and stole bait for the 45 minutes. We kept reading decent marks and stayed the course.

A few more shakes, rods are twitching, the crew is shifting gears and all seems to be in slow motion. Tikki is launched from the holder... reel tight... and this time we get the right run off and some line drag that assures us that staying put was the right decision. We did the dance with a handful of shorts 22 - 26 inches, mixed in some more garbage and kept the slow feed going.

Kooz, Capt Don and Capt Crazy all had shots at a few line siders today. Half way into the tide was best. We ended up catching 9 Bass and put two in the penalty box for high sticking! Good to get back out with the boys!
