Raritan Bay 10/23

[Salty Dog]

Heard good reports about the Bay .So,first light we hit the 11A with clams .Couldn't get anything started .Went the Sandy Hook channel .Most guys were drifting eels .We anchored up and started the clam chum slick .Not even a lousy skate .Didn't see anybody running for the net .After we docked,heard that there was a good eel bite early at the Hook .Could've,should've ,would've .    Next time .

Ya gave it a good shot. We all have been a day late dollar short and wrong bait at the wrong place.Catch em up next trip.
