Both is your answer. I always fish the surf with krocodile spoons and what not. I usually only catch bluefish and an occasional sea robin on them, haha.

Fish On
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

I have used them from a boat and some days they out performed diamond jigs and crippled herring on stripers.  Not much difference on bluefish except the addtional cost of losing them to a yellow eye.

Hi All,

Good all around lure,  I was just looking at the different patterns and sizes they have now.  They go up to 7oz,  Wow, thats big. 7" I believe.

I also like to surf and they are a good choice to try when nothing seems to work.  Always carry them in the box.

Happy Catching
