Basic Crimping

Can anyone suggest a basic, cost effective crimping set? I was hoping to crimp daisy chains, etc for inshore trolling. I would be guessing 150lb mono. Maybe... shark rigs to wire.

 I have tried it in the past with cheapie outfits, and the result was I did not trust them the way I was doing it.

 There is very little tolerance for error in crimping, if any at all.

 If you go for it, and get it dialed in, I have a few that can be redone also.

I would call Chuck at Tournament Cable (609)463-1313.  He's a nice guy and will tell you whatever you need to know. t^

If you are going to the AC boat show Chuck will be there. As Bob said, he will tell you all he can, he is a great guy.

Furthermore, if anyone want to do a seminar on crimping and such, Chuck will present it at his shop (Cape May area) for free. He did this for us two years ago and it was a great time. Speak up if anyone wants to do this, we can set something up with him.  t^

You do a Sat and I'm there....my try at tying 150-200-250 mono sword rigs didnt test out too well.... ::)
