Fishing In Fort lauderdale Happy Day Today

Fishing Fort Lauderdale on Happy Day Today with Capt. Zsak

We have had 14 straight days of record breaking temperatures in the 80’s in Fort Lauderdale FL, which has slowed the migration of Sailfish moving down the coast.  In our winter months, the temperature of the Gulf Stream drops down 2-4 degrees, which is not much of a temperature change for us, but for marine life it is a significant change.  It is a welcome push for the migration of Sailfish and other species of fish when the jet stream dips down south and pushes the cold air from Canada down the eastern coast to Florida.  Our forecast for a cold front to push through next week is a welcome change.

We are still catching Kingfish, Wahoos, Black Fin Tunas and Mahi Mahi off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.  Our Shark season is approaching very soon bringing the migration of Thresher, Makos, Hammerheads, Bulls, Duskys and Tiger Sharks to our fishing grounds in Fort Lauderdale.  Catching Sharks weighing anywhere from 100 to 400 lbs is an exciting feat for any angler to experience.  Just to see these magnificent creatures in the water along the side of the Happy Day Today is a thrilling sight.

Come fish aboard the Happy Day Today along with the Topshotfishing team; we are located at Bahia Mar 801 Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale 33316.

t^ There is still a good sailfish bite to the north of us by about 40-50 miles near Sebastian so hopefully you'll get another good push of fish your way with a few mor cold fronts.
Tight lines Zsak!
