It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

SQUIRREL STEW

Sprinkle 2 or 3 squirrels (cut up) with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Brown in a heavy skillet in 4 tablespoons of butter. Remove squirrel and add 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon each of thyme and rosemary, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Stir to a smooth paste.
Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 1/2 cups of water. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Add the squirrel and several small onions. Cover and simmer until tender (about 1 1/2 hours). Add a can of mushrooms and cook an additional 10 minutes.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

That is funny.

I have a round bird feeder with a rail along the bottom to let the birds perch on to eat. If a squirrel gets on the ring his weight will cause the ring to go down and trip a switch that makes the ring spin, thus tossing the squirrel off the feeder and to the ground. Funny as all to watch.

It also works on black birds when several get on it at the same time. They usually go in a circle, holding on with their feet while their wings are flapping in the breeze trying to maintain their stand on the ring.  TT^
