2/16 Wreck Trip
« on: February 17, 2013, 01:05:40 PM »
Left the dock around 3:15 am aboard the Jamaica II with 12 guys aboard.

First stop,I get a big Ling, a few others came up, then nothing but Dogs.

Second stop, a few more Ling over the rail, then Eels and Dogs.

Over the next few stops, an assorted mix of Bergals, Dogs, a few Lng, a few short & keeper Cod, 1 nice tog, and some nice Pollock. I missed the pool by a .... fish hair, it was that close. Over all, a slow pick, but hey, I did'nt have to eat McDonalds Fish Bites for dinner.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

Not a bad day there Darren
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Caught the Pollock on a whole squid, which I provided myself. Tried jigging some up, but no luck.
