We waited to leave the dock until 10am allowing a little more time for the sea’s to come down from the front that past through the previous evening. We came out of the inlet and headed North looking for some action. We covered a lot of ground trolling and jigging our way further north, but we were not finding any reason to stick around. So we put the boat on a southerly heading and took a ride, well we worked a lot of area down that way as well and ended the day with 1 nice fish for our efforts that came on the Jig. The front seemed to have really shut things but the weather throughout this week is looking great! So we should be looking for the fishing to break wide open any day now. We still have a few open boat spots for this weekend, and a bunch of charter dates for May. Thanks to Sam, Andy and Cody who came out for this one.
Also this Year we are happy to announce our new “after work” trips for only $79 a person + tip for mate. Our goal is to get as many people on the water during the week as possible. There are many upsides to this as well as not having to take any time off work. These trips will leave the dock between 4:30-5 and will be approximately 4-5 hours in length. Please follow the open boat forum for these dates, we will be maintaining a separate thread for them.
