Raritan bay bass 4-26
« on: April 26, 2013, 09:29:18 PM »
First bass trip for me since last may started at Leonardo on my buddies seacraft. We trolled the bay till outgoing tide started moving then anchored off Keansburg. Couple hours there with one keeper in the box we moved out to romers and put another one in the box. moved around in search mode but ended up back where we started. 2 more keepers there and also had a lot of run offs and lost a few half way to the boat. Asfter the last few days I was hoping for better but since all 4 keepers were mine (3 guys) guess I shouldn't complain...LOL    Was nice to be back on the water. Can't wait for AH to get their act together so I can bring the boat down.

Also one fish had a tag in it from littoral soc.  They made a loop and tied a knot in it so that the knot was rubbing against the fish and caused a nice sore. Hope this does not keep happening. But will return tag and let them know. Would have released this one but he was bleeding like a pig.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
