Tuna Tales Monday 05-27 Wreckfishing - Cod and Big Ling
« on: May 28, 2013, 11:21:31 AM »
Had a late start this season due to extra work being done on the boat...could not wait to get out.

Fished one wreck with Chuck for cod and ling and had a decent pick of 11 keeper cod to 10 lbs and 13 big ling.  Awesome day on the ocean and it was nice to be all alone.  The SW came up a little hard so we packed it in around 1:30 pm.

Good day and some very good eats.

Back at it asap...

clp Great picts! Nice cod! I bet they are fun to fish for. Put them on my 'fish to fish for' list.  ;D I've caught the ling and whiting before but years ago when I was just a kid. Good eating!
I headed in around 2 because of the wind too; screwy drift so I called it....Enjoy the season! Catch um up!  slt
