Well, went to the boat Sat afternoon to check him out, and one of the connectors to the battery came off. Luckily my Dad had showed me how to strip and fix them, and had what I needed in the box I carry with my tools and such so that was a break. (Thanks Daddy  :-*) Joe, I'm not sure I prepped it right as per your suggestions, so I'll probably have to redo it the right way. Even check them all out; after a while they get all corroded from the salt and stuff.

So me, myself, and I did get out Sunday; lil later then I planned. Started at the triangle and worked my way up to 19. Combed the chnls inside and out, had a nice drift too holding with 6 and 8oz. But not one bite.  thud I don't know what the heck I am doing wrong. I know, I know, fishing the wrong side of the bay.  rgmn Ahhhh well there is always next time. Not for nothing I didn't see to many other boats, party included dropping the net either. Sounds like some of you though did manage a few keepers so Kudos to you!!! Talk with ya'll soon.  msfsh

It was a tough day.  Next time will be better.

Too bad about the battery issue.
Did you use the left handed flat head screwdriver on the terminals?   ;D

Don't beat yourself up .The water has been so unsettled and muddy ,that nobody is putting any great catch's together .

Ya'll always know how to put a smile on my face. ;D Thanks guys!  :-* And yea, I'll look into those screwdrivers right away. Dad always said you need the right tool for the right job! I hope they sell them at home depot!! ;)

You may not of caught what you were looking for , but like everyone has said you got out and you managed to fix your boat  clp  t^

If Home Depot does not sell the tool look at Lowes. nts
