Lake Ontario
« on: September 30, 2007, 02:08:43 PM »
Went up to Sodus point, NY to do some salmon fishing on Sat with Fishin Magician. The lake was real rough because of the winds that came in friday nite.. Trooled about for 4 hours until we caught a big small mouth bass. About a hour later I hooked into a 16lb coho salmon. After that we brought in 1 big rainbow trout and 1 king salmon..Over all it was a good day with the snotty winds..

You dont have to travel to far states for good fishing. Salmon river is by far the best place ive fished for salmon when there really running. Ive yet to take a ridiculously expensive trip to alaska. We saw alot of salmon jumping out of the water with 1 foot eels attached to the sides of them. Haha, thats sick. I wish I caught one with an eel, maybe ill keep the eel and go for stripers.  :o
