From my Facebook post:
Rode out the early AM T-storms and drove to Belmar for the planned Daddy/Daughter day of fishing on the OE. This being the last warm up before next week's tourney fishing. Sky cleared up and the sun came out after the storms and made for a nice day. Decent drift to move us to start then died out and had to work the jigs hard to make the fake drift conditions. Weeded through lots of shorts and then hit a decent patch of fish. Gianna caught one short and dropped a couple really nice sized fish based on the bend in the totem pole she was using....I was fortunate enough to pull up some quality fish up to the 6lb range and won the daily pool(Very cool T-Shirt I had on today!). Great day just to be able to spend that quality time fishing again. Gianna started working on her Capt's license today too which brought a huge smile that made it all worth while today!
