im hoping to go tuna fishing monday crossing my fingers i havent gone out fishing since before my mom passed and i was wondering if i should bring a spinning rod for mahi or not

Bring it. Worst case you don't use it and its whatever. Best case you get some mahi. Way more of an upside than a downside.

i just found out  :-\ ??? my last two trips have been ruined my friend ditched on the wednsday trip now this happens

many a tuna trips been cancelled due to the weather. You'll get em.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
