keansburg fishing pier 9/18
« on: September 18, 2013, 07:43:12 PM »
Went fishing for a bit after work. not too many people on the pier which I like. what I don't like are slow fishing days. lol. saw a couple cocktail blues reach the boards. I had a small striper but lost him when I was pulling it up. who just bought a pier net and regrets his decision to leave it in the car?..........THIS GUY.

That's like how I keep my umbrella in the car but never have it at home when I need it lol bring the pier net before you lose a big one.  TT^

There were a few shorts that got landed.  1 was just as I was walking back with the net.  a few fluke also and some cocktails.  atleast I got to try out some of the new toys. Check out the savage gear prey lure.  thing was awesome. nice action and casts a mile.  would have been better if something hooked into it
