hit sandy hook sat morning with eels and live bunker ,no bass around so sailed to breezy pt. Same story there so went to rockaway reef and picked up a cooler filled with jumbo size porgies.Then went through the fog to 17 fathoms to find the bluefish fleet but couldnt find any boats there. started west and after a few miles found a fleet of 20 or so boats and it was acres and acres of the largest blues I have seen in a few years. left after our tackle started to break down and our arms gave up. Fun day to say the least.
