10/22 Raritan Bay

Set up trolling near the 11a .Marked some fish and thought it would be a banner day .Not a touch on the plug .Changed plugs ,different colored plugs ,different depths .Ran out things to try .Anchored up by the 11a and clammed .Skates and more skates .Guy came up and anchored near me .Said he caught two nice fish here yesterday .And so the story goes ,should've been here yesterday .

same story here,  trolled for a couple of hours with no results . switched over to bait on anchor and marked fish but dont think they were hungry. what a difference a day makes...
