TnT Smashing Bass.... 11-6-13

[The Broken One]

Left the dock in da dark with C&B Joe..... rounded Sandy Hook and was greeted with birds all along Sandy Hook Channel... Nice bass rolling on top.... plugged 4 fish on the first 4 casts.... then had the yahoos show up and drive right up to them or thru them.... made a move on some more birds a little more south trying to shake the crowd... but brought 3/4 tails with us.... This time it was shads being tossed and first cast Joe and i were hooked up,at this time actually had a nice shiney go fast boat come right on our bow may be 20 yds away while we were fighting 2 fish..... had enough of the Pro's...... picked up and ran to the rox... Talked to the Monger.. fish breaking on top but they just wouldnt eat.. we ran in tighter to the beach and found fish rolling around with some bird play above them... jigged 4 to 6 more... this time better results chuckin the a47's as far as ya could and reeling them in fast... that finally died decided to run back to the fleet to the north between the channels but that was dead... told joe we will check the along the beach one more time before calling it quits... 200 yds off SH beach we marked fish... and it was game on... jigged another dozen or so tossing them back ... gonna say we released at least 25 fish during the day... kept our 4 with biggest going 22 lbs calling it quits at 1230..... and it can only get better
