You're making me sick!  I went out for six hours yesterday and all I got was one largemouth.  The other guys there that I talked to were only catching bass also.  There were tons of turtles out there, maybe they ate all the trout!  When we meeting up? I'm off on Sundays and Mondays.

I am a fly guy but what ever you use for bait I can tie (or at least try to) an imitation.  I heard that the stockers are fed corn.  I was thinking that a yellow egg might work, what do you think?  Did they find the kid?

I met a buddy at Grenlock lake after work today.  He was already there for a couple hours and said no one was catching fish, again.  I was planning to toss out some nymphs but it was so crowded we decided to try something different.  We went to another lake to try some nighttime catfishing.  This was another fist for me.  we fished for about a half hour till we were soaked and called it a night.  I can't catch a break this season!

if you are lookin to get some catfish use chicken livers ,put them in a ziplock bag and throw a handful of kosher salt in w/ them it will toughen them up so they stay on the hook .I also use strips of blue fish

with the chicken livers, you want them sitting in the sun for a few hours, a little rancid smell attracts the cats..
