Wow, that's a big undertaking...

I know that through out the year there are times when different clubs have training sessions  that are open especially for kids.

As far as spots to fish NJ is riddled with tons of small lakes to fish but finding places to fish all at one time with that many might be difficult.  Not, impossible as Lake Shenandoah in Lakewood has a lot of good fishing spots all around the lake.

As far as southern lakes I am not sure as I am from the central NJ area.

As far as lures and what to use keep it simple at first.  small hooks and bobbers will work the best with small baits.

Knots, all I can say is to use the knots that you are comfortable in using.  We all have our favorites but make sure you feel comfortable using the knots you will be teaching the youngsters to tie.

Happy Catching

Depending on how far south you are, Amwell lake might be a decent spot to take the kids, plenty of room for that sized group. loaded with sunnies, crappies, bass, and channel cats. If you decide to try it, pm for more specific details.

I would have several small competitions with some prizes of some kind.

Furthest cast
Put the bobber the closest to 22 " up from the hook
Knots tying
Baiting a worm straight

All he little basics, they will remember them and have fun doing it.
