4/28 Keyport and beyond .

[Salty Dog]

Day was the toughest this season .Couldn't put anything together for a catch .Fished here there every where .Trolled deep ,shallow ,this color ,that color .Very little we didn't try .Last Friday ,I called it stupid fishing ,it was so easy and we had marks all over the place .It was like a totally different body of water today .Manage one fish on shad umbrella rig and one on clam .Caught a few shorts on clams ,but wow ,what a difference from last week .

Tough day Stew.  I'm out here now and Nada on the clamming.  Gonna move and try my spot.  Then it's bedtime.
