Pilot - Bunker dunkin with Skunk 5/4/14
« on: May 04, 2014, 07:33:17 PM »
Skunk had the jones to rock a couple of striped ones and we hatched a plan to give us a fair shot at them.  Had the goods dialed in and made some bait on the first toss but it was not enough.  Regrouped and had the electronics lit up, clean donut and we filled the tank.  The SHB was on the pre-rinse cycle and we knew it would be pure evil on the way back in.  Stopped on the knoll and began a chunk slick with two livies out and heads on the other sticks.   It took about 45 minutes before we had our first runoffs but the came at the same time.   Classic double header.  We're both cranking them in and look at one-another.   In tandem.... "who's going to get the net?"  Dropped two nice fish onto the deck of ZO with mine getting a pass to hopefully drop the eggs she was loaded with for another generation.

We toughed it out through the incoming with a honk that got progressively intense.   Missed a couple of other fish and put two more in the coffin.   Packed it in at the change and played heave and grind back through the bay for a clean-up and the fillet station.   TT^

Good day with my brother!
