Had Kandar and company out today for what ever bit. Started out the day by realizing the aft bilge pump took a crap. Switched out to the back up(after I climbed back out of the bilge from falling into the deck hatch) pump and as soon as we start rolling we run something pretty big over....never saw it surface. Think the prop is bent...could only make 2800 rpms after that but we steamed on and got set up....as im looking around the deck, I see a plastic bag filled with bright yellow things...could it be?...yup...2 bunches of bananas which were quickly disposed of. Bananas gone and we start catching...first 2 bass come unbuttoned at the boat and then it was stupid bluefishing after that. Finished up the day drifting and dreaming of the flat ones but only shorts for us. Slow steam home but a nice day out there
Hauling out tomorrow...should be good for the live lining to begin by wed or thurs!
Open boat liveline trip this friday...2 p.m. - dark

Trips like that suck Carl. Hope it's a quick, low cost fix on the running gear.

Well....the good news....hauled the boat...must have ran over a submerged fish pot as we had poly line wrapped in both props and some plastic crap that was causing cavitation. Got it cleaned up and is running like a champ!
The bad news....weather looks like crap the next couple of days!
Weather Should be ok by friday so we will run Open Live Line and Trolling Oceanside Friday 5/30....check out post in Sponsor Announcement/ Open Boat forum for details
