Been a while since reporting...
5/31 Headed out with my son and his buddy.
Found the bunker close to GKH and snagged away to fill the bait box and then set up in the Reach.
Wasn't gonna be our day. Winds kicked up and what little chop their was, turned out to be enough for his bud to turn green. Lets just say I'm thankfull to have a washdown hose.....
Called it quits way early with one small blue and headed to the barn.
6/1 Just me and my kid. Beautiful morning and flat calm. Used the leftover bunker from Sat.
Set up again and it was game on. Blues tore up the chunks and my son had 2 bass on. One of which I knocked off the hook with the net!!! The other landed and taped out at 30" (Never going to hear the end of it!!
Ran out of bunker and went drifting for fluke at the tide change. SUCKED...I mean bad! Worked the Reach down to the Knoll, Swash and Chapel Hill. Nothing doing, not even a bird.
Headed home and ran over a huge pile of bait at the 14 can. Kid was all smiles and spent so headed home.
Nice seeing Hunter on the way out. Hell of a ride Eddie, time to make an offshore run with that tank! Best of luck with her.
