Reel McCoy II Saturday 06/07/14 report
« on: June 07, 2014, 02:15:59 PM »
Fished solo for fluke this morning.  Started at the Sandy Hook bug light where the action was slow, three shorts and one keeper at 18.5".  Moved out side and made some long drifts tight to the beach.  First drift produced a 5#er and a nice 20" fish.  Now I think I will be limited out by 0830 but you know how that goes.  Nothing but shorts, birds and skates after that.  Tried the knoll for some more shorts.  Back at the dock at 1215 ended up with a nice bag of filets.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
