Weather looks to finally clear out for the weekend, but water conditions could act up for Saturday. Any lingering rain and/or storms from Friday Night should clear out by Saturday Morning and any lingering clouds will clear quickly throughout the early part of the day. Dry conditions will continue through Sunday with more sun than clouds. High temperatures will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s with higher temperatures inland and cooler temperatures along the coast; Southern Coastal areas will see close to inland temperatures as well. Overnight lows will only be into the low to mid 60’s. Humidity will be moderate to high. Water conditions will be border-line to Cautious on Saturday. Winds could be steady 10-15 knots with gusts to 20 knots possible with seas 3-5 feet. Southern and Midshore to Offshore waters are more likely to see higher winds, however all adjacent coastal waters have the potential. Saturday Night into Sunday, winds and seas should subside inshore and midshore; offshore waters will still see the potential for some gusty winds and higher seas. Surf and beach conditions will be OK to Good on Saturday and Good on Sunday. Saturday could see the gusty winds to 20 knots and rougher, higher surf around 2-4 feet. Rip Current Risk could be Moderate on Saturday. Saturday Night into Sunday should see an improvement of conditions. Water temperatures for rivers and bays are in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. Surf temperatures are in the mid to upper 60’s. Inshore ocean waters for northern waters have cooled some into the upper 50’s to mid 60’s and mid to upper 60’s across Southern Waters. Some 70’s may even be evident across extreme Southern Waters. Offshore waters are in the mid 60’s still. UV Index will be High to Very High at 7-9/15.

A frontal boundary to the south and west has stalled and is forecast to gradually lift north of the area as a warm front Thursday Night into Friday Morning. A cold front will then cross the Mid-Atlantic Friday Night, followed by high pressure building into the region over the weekend. Late Sunday, high pressure will move offshore with a warm front lifting north of the area into Monday. A slow moving cold front will then approach from the West into midweek.

Next week looks unsettled again with a mix of clouds and sun and chances of rain and thunderstorms all or most of the week. Another wet week, with 1-3 inches of rain possible during the week. High temperatures will continue in the 70’s and 80’s with lows only in the 60’s; so moderate to high humidity again. Water, surf and beach conditions look to be mostly Good with the potential for some gusty winds and higher seas on Tuesday right now.

The Tropical Atlantic is quiet. There is a Major Hurricane in the Eastern Pacific that poses no threat to land at this time and should continue moving out into the open sea.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!

t^ Thanks Matt!  t^  I am headed out the weekend with my family! Hopefully all this rain doesn't turn off the bite that seems to have just started  :-\  Still and all, I'm taking my sister Sat, then Michael Sun for Fathers Day. He and I haven't missed a day since we lost our Dad. It's become a tradition for him and I.  clp

Yeah, hopefully the rain and runoff hasn't affected the fishing too much. Weather will be great this weekend...Saturday will have some gustier winds and solid 2-4 foot seas out front. Sunday looks pleasant all the way around! Have a great weekend and catch'em up msfsh. What a nice way to honor your dad on Father's Day slt.
