Reel McCoy II Saturday 06/21/14 report

Plan was to head out early and try fishing the channels to the north.  I was a bit surprised when I got to the boat and the wind was honking from the east.  Stayed in SH Bay and picked away at shorts on long drifts.  I did manage one 19" keeper out of about 20 shorts.  Most of fish were taken on spearing.  Called it a day about 11am just as most of the fleet was making their way over to the knoll.  Maybe the bite got better later in the day.

Went out of Point Pleasant inlet Saturday and was met with 4 to 5 foot sea's and a honking wind. Tried one drop and it was unfishable, could not even stand up and attempt to fish without falling all over the place. Oh well next time !
