Cashin and Jersey Joe joined me at 5pm on a very hot and humid day. Thunder/lighting Storms were in the forcast but were just west. Cashin pulls in a 17.49" short and let's him go. All the sudden the south wind changed to a north wind, our drift reversed and the seas increased. The temps dropped drastically too and cooled us down quickly. We agreed to stay out until lightning clouds were in a short distance. I reeled in a nice 22" Fluke that hit the yellow teaser with yellow gulp belly strip. Ten minutes later lightning was hitting Staten Island so we returned to Keyport for quick cleanup and Dinner and Pepsi's at McDonoughs.
