Keeping killies alive
« on: July 03, 2014, 12:25:13 PM »
I have read somewhere you can keep killies alive by putting them on ice in a cooler. I want to be able to keep them overnight since bait shops tend to open later than I like.  5hrug 5hrug

For over night, or even a week or longer killies will and do survive in fresh water. I've kept them in an old fish tank with an air pump for 2 weeks in fresh water out of the house at the house.

the cardboard bottoms of old cases of beer lined in tin foil and wet newspaper was the best
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
