Decided to take a week and a half off after the close of the Fluke season. Capt. Dan made it out only 3 nights the past week with the Easterly wind everyday. When they did get out, some nice fish were caught including Tom Krako's 32 pound, 41 inch beauty. All fish were caught on eels. A few fish have been caught on Bunker the past week also.
With that, we will begin fishing for Striped Bass and Blue Fish, Saturday, Oct. 11th, 7:30am till 2:30pm Daily. Looking for Jig fish and carrying eels for bait.
Water temps are still a little warm but should begin to drop the next few days. I certainly don't expect hot and heavy fishing just yet but we will give it hell as usual...
Hammered Jigs, Crocs, Ava 47's all work well this time of year.
Capt. Dan is fishing at Night for Striped Bass Monday-Saturday, 6:30pm till 11:30pm, the Fare is $55. (We are not sailing Friday and Saturday night) the 10th and 11th of October.
Night trips have been fishing with eels. Capt. Dan can be reached at 908-930-2335 for Night fishing information.
Looking forward to a good Fall Run!
Thanks for checking in,
Capt. Ron
