Fish are still around
« on: December 04, 2014, 08:51:03 AM »
Got into a few shorties the other morning with Tom. Beautiful day out there and great fun.
Water was 46-47° between the channels after a few hrs of incoming tide. Get out there if you can, and be careful!

Nice job Warren and Tom.   What method did you use to catch them?

First we trolled around to find them. Then we jigged them with metals. Then we trolled some more when they went deep (shallow?) Remember, we are fishing hackmasters, so we just throw everything we got at them til something sticks.

Usually it's a treble hook.

They're down south off of Sea Isle. A friend of mine had a boat limit (to about 35#) within an hour the other day.
